Is Assange the Man Behind the Sofa?

A white van was seen removing furniture and belongings from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, Sunday, following reports that Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno and British officials have come to an agreement under which Ecuador will withdraw its asylum protection for Julian Assange. The WikiLeaks founder, who is holed up in the embassy, would then be handed over to British authorities, according to reports.

Pay close attention to frames 5 through 10 in the footage below. Slow down the video if you have to, and decide for yourself if the man behind the sofa is Assange.

  1. It is unclear what “FRAMES 5 through 10” means when referring to a YouTube video. YouTube videos are not delimited by frame markers. Please clarify. I watched the entire video and to me… it would take more than a CIA analyst to find him in the referenced video.
