Reports from the U.S. media claim a new caravan of 2,500 has begun making its way from Honduras to the U.S. border. But reports out of Mexico show the actual number is nearly ten times higher.
Conciencia Radio’s Alex Bachman reports:
Even as a new caravan of 20,000 prepares to cross from Honduras into Mexico at Chiapas, the first leg in a journey to the U.S. southern border, Olga Sanchez Cordero, Mexico’s Minister of the Interior, announced the Mexican government will not use force to stop the invasion.
A day after meeting with U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen. The minister blathered about harmony and collaboration among all Mexico’s federal government agencies in such a way that they have containment in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec,
Sanchez Cordero did not provide details about how the federal forces would be deployed, stressing it would not include the militarization of Mexico’s border with Guatemala.
Yesterday, the commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, stated America’s border security has officially collapsed. Pinning the blame on Congress and judges who have jointly cut legal holes in the nation’s immigration laws. Laws that allow this massive stream into the U.S., and all they have to do is request asylum.
“We are on pace for over 100,000 apprehensions and encounters in March, with 90 percent 90,000 people — almost guaranteed to be released and to remain in the U.S. indefinitely, regardless of the merits of their immigration or asylum claim” the commissioner stated.
This morning, President Trump tweeted in part: The Dems don’t care, such BAD laws. May close the Southern Border!
