One of my GREAT frustrations here in my little town is that as an independent, every time I vote in a primary, I get changed to whatever party primary I voted in. I have to remember to re-register after voting. The first time this happened I had no idea until I went to vote at the next primary – then it was too late to switch. This practice should be illegal. So warning to independents – check to see how your town or city has you registered.
