CDC: First Human-to-Human Coronavirus Transmission in US

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 8,267.

Although the CDC confirmed the first human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus in the U.S. Thursday afternoon, the agency has stated it will not impose a federal quarantine on the Americans evacuated out of China.

  1. It’s as if they WANT this to spread! The CDC isn’t even using good common sense! I’ve seen better isolation with chicken pox! We are on our own to prevent getting this. I am so worried about my grandkids at school. Kids pick up everything.

    1. Exactly what I was thinking! Then with the statement “if you have the symptoms, but weren’t on the flight, you don’t have the virus, “it’s as simple as that” they seem to want people to fail to realize they have it while trying to fool people into believing their responsibility is limited to those on the plane. Why are they playing with people’s lives like this?

  2. I shared on Twitter. It annoys and scares me (for our nation) they aren’t putting the passengers and crew in quarantine for the full 14-day incubation period! What kind of idiots are running the CDC? Then to put out a notice that if you weren’t on the plane and you come down with the symptoms you don’t have the virus, “it’s as simple as that” – what? I guess those that were exposed, and caught the virus were somehow magically – not contagious? … I guess they’re trying to brainwash people into believing their legal liabilities don’t extend farther than the passengers on the plane. Most people, I hope, aren’t that stupid.
