Pelosi Cancels State of the Union Address

It started as the epitome of arrogance.  House speaker Nancy Pelosi sent President Trump a letter, calling on him to postpone his Jan. 29 State of the Union address until the government shutdown ends.  She didn’t even tell her fellow Democrats until after she did it, the latter being busy rounding up furloughed government workers to stand in the audience for the spectacle to shame Trump.  It was all about security concerns, Pelosi claimed.

California Liberals Rebel

As skyrocketing property prices have led to an ever increasing homeless population, Californians struggle with the crisis on a daily basis. Because not every homeless person lives in an encampment on Skid Row, the growing scourge of these encampments led the city of LA late last year to double its appropriations for services to meet the needs of the homeless population, as the rate of crimes and public nuisances like discarded syringes and human excrement has stoked a quality of life crisis in rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods like Venice Beach.

The Gillette Ad is Gold

The Gillette ad everyone’s been talking about for the past few days, cobbled together by Grey Advertising for Proctor and Gamble’s razor company, Gillette, doesn’t detail product attributes, encourage brand loyalty, instill warm feelings in buyers, or even show basic respect for consumers. Instead, the grimly lecturing spot declares masculinity is toxic, a peril to decent society.

Identifying with Nothingness

The Mainstream narrative has narrowed its scope over the past ten years in what it defines as European culture. And this has been by design, as there is no evidence that it occurred organically. In fact, there is ample proof that the characterization of “Whiteness” and the deliberate dislocation of this modern concept from its cultural and racial core—that of a European realization and identity—has been a massive victory by the Liberal Elite over the collective consciousness of European peoples.

It’s Not a Shut-Down

President Donald Trump has lured Democrats and the Deep State into a trap that will enable a radical downsizing of the federal bureaucracy. In only 5 more days of the already-“longest government shutdown in history” (25 days and counting, as of today), a heretofore obscure threshold will be reached, enabling permanent layoffs of bureaucrats furloughed 30 days or more.
