Former FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Robyn Gritz’s, letter in support of Lt. General Michael Flynn that details corruption at the highest levels of the agency has been made public.
The letter is addressed to Judge Sullivan, presiding over the Flynn case. Flynn is scheduled to be sentenced December 18, 2018.
The following is a portion of Gritz’s letter to Judge Emmet Sullivan:
Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel’s Office destroyed a potential treasure trove of evidence about the “insurance policy” FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were implementing against the Trump administration as it prepared to take office and establish itself in its first few months. Whatever Page and Strzok texted each other and others during the period in question, the Special Counsel’s Office thought was not worth scrutiny by outsiders not on the team.
